Mutton Dampukht
Minced beef 1 kg Cut into 1 1½ inch pieces
Yogurt 400 grm, whipped
Onion 2-3 medium, sliced
Ginger 1 tsp ground
Garlic 1 tsp, ground
Turmeric ½ tsp
Saffron 1 tsp, roasted and crushed
Butter 100 ml
Salt To Taste
Preparation
Mix all ingredients with meat except ghee and marinate for 3-4 hours. Heat oil in a saucepan, add the marinated mutton. Cook on a low heat till meat is tender and the oil separates from meat.
